Cheer LA heads back to the desert for Palm Springs Pride on November 2 and 3, 2024. We'll be raising money for the LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert (https://thecentercv.org/en/), which strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all members of the vibrant LGBTQ community! Look for those high flying stunts and drop a donation in our spirit buckets or viritually via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or any social platform!

Want to Join Cheer LA?
Tryouts Start Tuesday, August 13!
Come try out for Cheer LA! Our official tryout process will kick off next Tuesday, August 13th. Everyone trying out MUST be present on the first day of tryouts (August 13) and call-backs will be held the following week (August 20).
Please note! For safety, Tryouts are intended for individuals with prior cheer experience and all those who attended the recent Open Gym sessions. Tryouts will be focused on Stunt skills. If you do not have prior cheer experience, we encourage you to attend an Open Gym session in the future or reach out to the team for volunteer and support opportunities!

Location: 1545 W 134th St, Gardena, CA 90249
Free street parking available on 134th Street
Please wear white-soled shoes. Jewelry and long nails are not permitted.
A $20 donation will be required at the door for anyone attending for the first time this season. If you previously attend the recent Open Gym sessions, that will be waived.

Cheer LA heads to Hollywood for the Los Angeles Pride parade, which runs along Hollywood Blvd, and surrounding streets and will also be broadcast on KABC.
This year, Cheer LA will be joined by a new beneficiary - the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation (AARBF), a California-based nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing burns and fires and providing services to those who have been affected by a burn injury!
This past week, AARBF Executive Director Daniel Chacon stopped by Cheer LA's practice to talk about the amazing work they do, including their annual Champ Camp - a week-long, residential summer camp experience for child burn survivors ages 5-17! Your donations will go directly to help AARBF establish policies and procedures to support trans and non-binary campers at Champ Camp and help all kids to feel safe and supported!
