Cheer LA made its debut appearance at DTLA Proud on Sunday, August 27 in Pershing Square! The team had an amazing time performing for the crowd downtown and was so excited to raise $715 for our beneficiary, The Wall Las Memorias! We can't wait to come back again next year!

Currently celebrating our 16th year, the award-winning Cheer Los Angeles is a dedicated group of volunteers seeking to promote spirit, unity, and diversity in the LGBTQ community through dynamic cheer, dance, and stunt performances. Part of the Pride Cheerleading Association - PCA, Cheer LA and our sister teams work to raise funds for local charities at each performance. We call this the Cheer for Life program. Through the generous donations of spectators, Cheer LA has raised over $165,000 for HIV/AIDS related charities.

Tryouts are open to all cheerleaders, both men and women (18+) from all experience levels, who are committed to charity.

For those who are interested in trying out, Mandatory Clinics will be held on July 25th andAugust 1st at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics (8450 Higuera St., Culver City, CA 90232) starting at 8:00 PM. Enter the gym using the garage style rear door on the east side of the building. You must attend at least one (or both) of the Mandatory Clinics to try out!!

An Optional Clinic will be held at the West Hollywood Park (647 N San Vicente Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069) on July 30th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Tryouts will begin at 8:00 PM on Aug. 8th at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics (8450 Higuera St., Culver City, CA 90232).

Please fill out the tryout forms and release waivers at http://bit.ly/CLATryouts before you arrive and bring them with you that day! If possible, try to arrive early to sign in and fill out any additional information needed – just look for the Cheer LA members in their black t-shirts when you arrive! Check-in will be located by the garage style rear door on the east side of the building.

If you will be joining us at tryouts, please be sure to wear CLEAN, WHITE-soled shoes otherwise you will not be allowed on the practice floor. Please wear shorts without pockets, wear long hair tied-back in a ponytail and make sure to remove all your jewelry.Thank you!
